Penn Emblem Receives TRSA Award for their recognition of the Cintas Bronze Supplier Sustainability Stewardship Award

Penn Emblem Company is proud to be named the recipient of TRSA’s 2025 Clean Green Sustainability Award based on recognition by Cintas ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) with the Bronze Supplier Sustainability Stewardship Award. “We are beyond honored,” says President, Randi Blumenthal-Joseph, “Penn Emblem works diligently to find continual improvements to our processes to create a more sustainable output for our planet.”
Earlier this year, Penn Emblem was honored to receive an award for meeting Cintas supplier compliance Code of Conduct standards in relation to social and environmental responsibility, human rights, and fair labor practices. Cintas sets high expectations for their suppliers in that those they do business with must match their commitment to sourcing ethically both domestically and internationally as well as continuously improving their social and environmental practices. The Supplier Sustainability Stewardship Award is based on criteria that include having an Environmental Policy, a Human Rights Policy, and a current Health and Safety Policy.
Penn Emblem doubled down on the standards that Cintas recognized and utilized those same accolades for the TRSA Award. Winners of TRSA’s Clean Green Sustainability Award “prove their resource conservation and discharge reduction proficiency, documenting their success in achieving above-normal performance. Clean Green certification is not required for operators but fulfilling Clean Green standards is encouraged”.
Tom Chambers, Manager of Compliance & Operational Excellence at Penn Emblem, who is heavily involved in the restructuring of plant function and utilization to better suit customer and environmental needs, says “Penn Emblem is dedicated to socially and environmentally responsible practices, sustainability, and circularity. This includes maintaining WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certifications, product testing to guard against harmful chemicals such as BPS and PFAS, recycling programs, reduction of manufacturing waste, focusing on continuous improvement, and proactively complying with upcoming EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) packaging initiatives.”
Penn Emblem is honored to not only be recognized by TRSA for this prestigious award, but most importantly, to be acknowledged for taking part in bettering the environment. The company looks forward to continuously improving sustainability endeavors in 2025 and beyond.
